Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
When I think about this scripture, I feel peace and comfort. It sounds so simple; Rejoice always, but when you are in the middle of a hard season, or even just a hard day, it takes discipline and faith to Rejoice. Choosing to focus on the positives and the blessings in my life is exactly that... a choice. If I pray continually, I grow closer to the Lord and therefore it is easier to Rejoice. This is God's will for me! This is God's will for all of us. May you feel peace and comfort when you read this!
